Peasant in the real world. Because I’d still be surrounded by my family and friends (hopefully. Hah.)
January 6th, 2011 at 10:02 pm
I’d much rather be a peasant in the real world than a prince(ss) stuck in prison, because to be shut up in a cell with no freedoms would be more than I could bear.
January 6th, 2011 at 11:27 pm
I think the obvious answer is the peasant in the real world. Riches and royalty cant buy you happiness, especially if you are stuck behind bars, but freedom is priceless!

Definitely a peasant in the real world–we’re all peasants aren’t we?
January 8th, 2011 at 12:02 pm
Peasant in the real world, because then at least you would have your freedom.
January 8th, 2011 at 12:24 pm
Definitely a peasant in the real world (I don’t look good in stripes).
January 8th, 2011 at 1:16 pm
I would rather be stuck as a peasant in the real world because you get more freedom and prison is scary. I don’t wanna be locked up.
January 8th, 2011 at 1:45 pm
A peasant in the real world! I’d rather be broke but happy! Oh wait, I already am
lol
Thanks for the awsome contest!!
January 8th, 2011 at 2:27 pm
I would rather be a peasant in the real world. Atleast I’d be free & be able to be near family & friends….
Thanks for the great contest! I hope I win (:

Because I’m being brave in my own life right now, I would say A prince in prison. There could be some incredible challenges and risks to being an imprisoned prince. Hopefully, you would make done great friends there, that would help you escape and learn through challenges. You’d become a very strong person by not giving up and then have a great comeback story when you went to reclaim what was rightfully yours!

I’d be the prince in prison- because no one can steal your birthright from you, because no country worth its monarchy would leave their prince in prison and because settling for an insignificant (though not worthless by any means) life because it is easy, is to deny oneself the beauty of living. Just because the prince’s body is imprisoned, does not mean that his soul, his influence, his imagination or his dreams are!

Definately a peasant in the real world…I couldn’t survive in prison and at least the peasant can try to help his situation.

A pheasant in the real world surrounded by family and friends
January 8th, 2011 at 3:54 pm
I would mmuch rather be as peasant in the real world. To be shut up in prison would be terrible. I think anyone who has seen the movie Man in the Iron Mask would say the same. It is better ot be free and unknown than famous and locked up as a spectator to the world.
January 8th, 2011 at 3:55 pm
I would rather be a peasant in the real world. My freedom and my family is priceless!
January 8th, 2011 at 4:06 pm
Peasant in the real world no doubt.
January 8th, 2011 at 4:13 pm
I would rather be a peasant in the real world.
January 8th, 2011 at 4:18 pm
I would much rather be a peasant in the real world. Mostly because you would have the chance to do something about being a peasant in the first place. The opportunity to make something would be the best gift, and though it would be hard it would totally be worth it to put forth the effort. And even if you never made it anywhere else you would probably make some really awesome friends along the way. Besides…life’s an adventure!
January 8th, 2011 at 4:19 pm
I would rather be a peasant in the real world, better to be free without money than locked up with any amount of money.
January 8th, 2011 at 4:23 pm
apeasant living in the real world
January 8th, 2011 at 4:31 pm
I would rather be a peasant in the real world. I wouldn’t survive emotionally if I had to be locked up somewhere without my family, freedom and friends.
January 8th, 2011 at 4:32 pm
I would rather be a peasant in the real world. It is to easy to kill off royalty. Off with their heads.
January 8th, 2011 at 4:47 pm
I would like to be a prince stuck in prison because that just SCREAMS awesome adventure! I could even break out and have even more fun! I would not want to be a peasant in the real world because theres not much magic in that, if I had a choice it would be the one that takes me away to a chance of a lifetime….
January 8th, 2011 at 5:23 pm
I’d rather be a prince in jail just so when I get out I could use corny pick up lines such as “I’m charming, I’m a prince, can I be your Prince Charming?”
January 8th, 2011 at 5:35 pm
I’d rather be a peasant in the real world, because there are always kind hearted folk who would help me.
January 8th, 2011 at 5:56 pm
This book sounds inviting! Would love to win & read it.
January 8th, 2011 at 6:38 pm
I would much rather be a peasant in the real world because you would still have a better life than being in a prison and what good is it be be a prinse if you are in a prison. Also if your a peasant your around people you know like friends and family but a prince in a prison would not be surounded by family.
January 8th, 2011 at 6:54 pm
I would rather be a peasant in the real world. At least I would be able to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and be in good company with loving friends and family.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:13 pm
theres pro’s and cons to both.
Peasant: you live in the real world, you can enjoy the little things in life. your free to go outside if you want to talk to your friends and family daily. But the down side is that as a peasant your kind of looked down on. your life is mainly surround by finding your next meal and hoping you dont get put on the street.
Prince: as a price id like to think that you’d have some type a advantages to it. you mite get better food then everyone else. have a prison cell to your self, that way you know your protected but your secluded away from everyone. trapped so to speak. your time outside is limited. people can only visit you. you spend your days waiting for the next day hoping that it brings you closer to your last day there.
id have to go with being a peasant because i would at least be able to see my friends and family when ever i can

I would want to be a prince in prison. Challenges in life are there to teach you a lesson and give you strength. Hope is not lost.
January 8th, 2011 at 8:49 pm
I would rather be a peasant in the real world who can rise above adversity, get a job and help the prince get out of prison! =0)
January 8th, 2011 at 9:15 pm
I think that I would prefer to be a peasant in the real world because at least then I would have some freedom.
January 8th, 2011 at 9:40 pm
a peasant in the real world
January 9th, 2011 at 2:55 am
I think i would be a peasant in the real world cause i know that i will destroy my fate going into the prison
and some one else’s fate and future too:)
January 9th, 2011 at 10:30 am
I would be the peasant because I could then rescue the prince from his prison and help him to reclaim his rightful place and then stand buy his side as we made a difference for all in this world from noble to peasant alike. i have a very vivid imagination and would love to read this book very much. I have not had a chance to read this but would love to. I will however buy it if I do not win this copy. So thanks so much for the opportunity. Good luck everyone.
January 9th, 2011 at 11:08 am
I would want to be a peasant in the real world because you can’t miss something if you never had!
January 9th, 2011 at 11:28 am
I have to say I’d rather be a peasant in the real world. However wonderful your environment is, if you only have a limited area to move around on, and you’re not allowed to meet friends and family, it’s still painful. To have to work hard, but still be free to go wherever you want, and meet whomever you want – that’s more important.
January 9th, 2011 at 2:26 pm
I would rather be a peasant in the real world. What’s the point of being a prince if you are in prison????
January 9th, 2011 at 3:46 pm
A Prince in prison. Life gives us many challenges and there is always a way out.
January 10th, 2011 at 7:28 am
I would rather be a peasnt in the real world because if i was in a jail there would be no way to run away.
